HANATECH Co., Ltd. completed the establishment of a Myanmar corporation. Falling into overseas markets for greenhouse gas reduction projects

HANATECH Co., Ltd., a company specializing in renewable energy, has completed the establishment of a local subsidiary in Myanmar and is seeking to win orders for greenhouse gas reduction projects in the new southern countries, including Myanmar.

HANATECH Co., Ltd. is in the process of signing contracts with Myanmar's Yangon City and Mandalay City, and will be under construction and operation management through a local corporation.

It expects to reduce greenhouse gases by 50,000 tons every year through the project, and efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions can be recognized in Korea as a result of greenhouse gas reduction. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions by an annual capacity of 50,000 tons has the same effect as planting 7.5 million pine trees.

Jeong Kyoon, the CEO of HANATECH Co., Ltd. said, "We will contribute to improving the quality of life through the project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at Myanmar's landfill and preserving the environment, and will take the lead in creating a sustainable society by actively promoting greenhouse gas reduction projects overseas."
